o Prepares cash, records deposits and reconciles bank accounts and ATMs daily.
o Prepares daily operating and cash flow reports.
o Responsible for month-end journal entries and reconciliations of various general ledger accounts.
o Performs various statistical analysis based on actual financial data.
o Responsible for job cost and fixed asset accounting.
o Ensures compliance with Federal Withholding and Reporting law.
o Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for financial functions.
o Provides accounting functions as needed for department.
o Maintain professionalism at all times when working with and responding to team members and/or guests.
o Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
o Promotes outstanding customer relations. Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
o Performs all other duties as assigned.
o Minimum one (1) year of accounting experience.
o Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery during employment.
o Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and Depreciation
o Solutions a plus.
o Must have strong math skills and the ability to accurately calculate in all units of measure.
o Attention to detail and high level of energy required
o Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute, written and verbal instructions.
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with team members and management is mandatory.
o Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
