JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all advertising aspects of company, including but not limited to retail advertising, marketing promotions, special events and entertainment.
  • Responsible for the development of a casino marketing plan that incorporates substantial cross marketing of all gaming products.
  • Responsible for creation of casino marketing and retail marketing collateral material.
  • Oversees all staff personnel issues including but not limited to effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and appraisals.
  • Assist the Director of Advertising/Public Relations in maintaining all advertising and public relations files, including samples of media, media flow charts, composites, audio tapes, scripts and press releases.
  • Assist in determining the proper company spokesperson for public relations and community events.
  • Assist in the issuance of press releases, maintaining relationships with key media contacts and proposing special media events.
  • Develops and implements Free Play and Free Bet utilization strategies
  • Provides proformas for promotions, special events and reports outcome of same.
  • Promotes campaigns fostering favorable community relations. 
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations. 
  • Listens, evaluates, and responds to all guest complaints and inquiries and exercises good judgment in resolving same.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of annual performance reviews
  • Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
  • Ability to adapt to a wide array of situations in short period of time. 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years in related field, College Degree in Marketing preferred.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Casino Market Place and VizExplorer. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains confidentiality with regards to employee concerns and sensitive department information.
  • Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
  • Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, customer relations and effective communications skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
