|
The Human Resource Generalist manages the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruitment and selection, employee orientation and training, policy and procedure development and implementation and assisting with general employee questions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring job applicants for open positions through creating and implementing competitive and creative recruiting strategies
- Coordinates with departments and hiring managers to assist with screening applicants and setting up interviews.
- Develops and implements an employment branding strategy to attract qualified candidates.
- Participates in hiring events
- Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation
- Assists in employee relations, services and counseling.
- Promotes outstanding internal and external guest relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
- Respond to general human resources related inquiries
- Tracks recruiting metrics to ensure current recruiting strategies are effective.
- Manages Team Member Referral Program and Welcome Bonus program as applicable to ensure team members are paid appropriately and on time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Three (3) years office administration and supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Prior recruiting experience a plus
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.
